Margaret Ann Sorensen, age 80, of Edgewood, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late William Charles Harman and the late Margaret May (Keil) Harman.

Margaret was the beloved wife of Charles W. Sorensen Jr., with whom she shared 57 wonderful years of marriage. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and great grandmother who cherished time spent with her family.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Charles Sorensen Jr.; her daughters, Margaret (Paul, Jr.) Wenck and Kristen (John) Rose; her grandchildren, Randy Wenck, Christopher (Rhonda) Wenck, and Shep Rose; and her great-grandchildren, Christopher Wenck, Jr., and Noah Wenck.

Margaret was very involved in her community through her membership in the Edgewood Lions Club and the Edgewood AARP. She was also a former member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church. She had a deep love for nature and the outdoors and especially enjoyed being on the water boating and kayaking. Her hobbies included fishing, hiking, bicycling, reading, cross stitching, completing puzzles, gardening, and planting flowers. She found great joy in the beauty of the outdoors.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Harford County Humane Society, The Salvation Army, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
