Lori Ann Potter, age 62, of Pasadena, Maryland, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2024. Lori was born in Rochester, New York, the beloved daughter of Bruce and Shiela Potter. She was a devoted wife to Brian Quinn, and a dedicated mother and grandmother whose family was the cornerstone of her life.
Lori’s life was a testament to her unwavering commitment to her loved ones. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for the people she cherished. As the ultimate “Nanny”, she lavished love and attention on her grandchildren, making them the center of her world. Her family fondly remembers her culinary prowess, particularly her unique and delicious spaghetti with a hint of chocolate—a testament to her creativity and love for her family.
Lori found joy in the great outdoors, especially at the beach where the sun and sand brought her the greatest relaxation. Her hobbies included knitting and crocheting, crafts that she pursued with passion. She also had a deep affection for her pets, particularly her loyal black labrador/rottweiler mix, Vixen, who will miss her dearly.
Lori is survived by her husband, Brian Quinn; her children, Scott Stappenbeck and Kristen Hovatter; her stepchildren, Taylor William Quinn and Brianna Nicole Quinn; her brother, Ty Nowicki; sister, Karen Peters; grandchildren, Cayden, Shelby, Calista, Leinani, Christa, and Blaise; great-grandchildren, Lazono and Avayah; her cherished dog, Vixen; and her cat, Socks.
She was preceded in death by her beloved dog, Poppy.
Lori's family invites those who knew her to celebrate her life and share memories. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to a Shark Conservation charity of your choosing.
Lori’s love, kindness, and the joy she brought into the lives of those around her will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
