In memory of Lois Marie Slattery, age 81, of Forest Hill, Maryland, who passed away on December 24, 2023, at Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Lois was the beloved daughter of Carlyle and Mildred (Benner) Brown and the cherished wife of the late Robert Slattery.

Lois found joy in life as an avid Ravens and Orioles fan, showcasing her unwavering support for her favorite teams. However, her greatest source of pride and happiness was being the biggest cheerleader for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family was at the center of Lois's heart, and she reveled in the warmth of extended family gatherings, relishing every moment spent with her loved ones.

Throughout her career, Lois worked as an Administrative Assistant in the admissions office at the University of Maryland Law School. Her dedication to her work was evident, and she was deeply appreciated and loved by her coworkers.

Lois is survived by her loving daughters, Diana (the late Timothy Scharfe) Scharfe and Karen (Vincent) Grande; grandchildren, Michelle McGehee, David Scharfe, and Jordan Wilner; great-granddaughters, Charlotte McGehee, Lucy McGehee, Audrey McGehee, and Madison Scharfe; and brothers, Carlyle Brown, Jr. and Stephen Brown.
