Lloyd "Uncle" Watters

June 7, 1934 — February 27, 2015

Lloyd "Uncle" Watters, 80, of Forest Hill, MD passed away on February 27, 2015 at Perry Point VA Hospital in Perry Point, MD. Born in Bel Air, MD, he was the son of the late Richard Wilson Watters and Lillian Thomas Watters and husband of the late Laura Anderson and Mary Frances Presbury Watters. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he was a 50 year member of American Legion Post #55 in Bel Air. He worked for 20 years at the Bel Air Post Office and enjoyed fishing and traveling, especially taking trips to Canada with his wife.

Mr. Watters is survived by his sons, Lloyd Watters Jr. and wife, Linda, of Wilmington, DE, Kelvin Watters and wife, Brenda, of Wilkes Barre, PA, David Watters and wife, Brenda, of Essex and Zachary Watters and wife, Tammy, of Churchville; daughters, Betty Watters and husband, Don, of Moline, IL and Lavinia Watters of Havre de Grace; brother, Richard Watters of Darlington; sister, Rebecca Watters of Aberdeen and Ella Smith of Bel Air; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his siblings, John, Larry and Thomas Watters, and Mabel Smith.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the VA Medical Center, Voluntary Service (135), 10 North Greene Street, Baltimore, MD 21201.
