Linda C. Moxley

LINDA C. MOXLEY, age 54, of Edgewood, died at Franklin Square Hospital, Baltimore, on October 6, 2002. Born in Adkins, Virginia, she was the daughter of Robert Kenneth and Connie Smith of Edgewood. A resident of Harford County for over 30 years, she worked as a commercial fisherman and loved working on the water. She also worked at Bata Shoe Company and Smitty’s Tasty Shop. She made crafts, wood cutouts, and crocheted. She had a strong faith, loved her family and helping others. She loved to sing and travel.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moxley is survived by one daughter, Stephanie Anne Arnold of Corning, New York; two brothers, Robert William Smith of Edgewood; Benjamin J. Smith of Whiteford; three sisters, Janet Smith-Morgan of Denver, Colorado; Susan Smith Sanders of Abingdon; Rebecca J. Woods of Edgewood; and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by one brother, Phillip R. Smith; and one grandchild.

Services were held in McComas Funeral Home, P.A. in Abingdon on Wednesday, October 9, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Herb W. Townsend officiating. Interment was in Bel Air Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers were: Robert W. Smith, Ben Smith, Sr., Walter Sanders, Aaron Sanders, James Smith, and James Woods. Honorary pallbearers were: Steve Arnold, Ron Griffith, Ben Smith, Jr. and Tom Martin, Sr.
