On Sunday November Lillian Grier nee Crowl Sweeting of Jarrettsville, Maryland passed away. Wife of the late George Poteet and the late Wilson Sweeting. Mother of George Carroll Poteet. Grandmother of Stephen Poteet; Spencer Poteet and wife Gwendolyn (Wendy); Elizabeth (Beth) Minton and husband David. Great-grandmother to Katherine (Kate) and Madeline (Madie) Poteet. Visitation will be held Sunday November 29, 2015 from 1-2 PM at the William Watters Memorial United Methodist Church, 1452 West Jarrettsville Road, Jarrettsville, Maryland 21084. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at the church. Interment in adjoining cemetery.
