Leroy Lochary, age 80, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025, in Forest Hill.
Leroy proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was stationed at Cam Ranh Bay as part of a field artillery Hawk Missile unit. Following his military service, he retired from General Motors in Baltimore.
Leroy married the love of his life, Sandra J. Lochary, and together they shared over 50 wonderful years of marriage. He was deeply devoted to his family and cherished his role as husband, father, and grandfather.
Leroy had many passions in life. He loved racing cars and working on them, and he was an avid golfer who often traveled with his buddies to tournaments. He was a proud member of Anglewood Golf Club and was known by many as the life of the party—bringing laughter, energy, and warmth wherever he went.
In addition to his parents, Leroy was preceded in death by his brother, Layton Lochary.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra Lochary; daughter, Erin (Terry) Correll; grandchildren, Jackson Correll and Maria Correll; brother, Larry Lochary; and sisters, Chyrl Neus and Shiela Dawson.
