Lena G. Clutter

Lena Geneive Clutter, age 93, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 7, 2025, in Bel Air.

Born in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Harrison Pritt and Amanda Catherine (Jenkins) Pritt, and the beloved wife of the late Joseph Thomas Clutter.

Lena was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She loved spending time in her vegetable garden and tending to her flower beds. A faithful member of the Bel Air Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, she found great joy in reading, especially her Bible. Known as the “Matriarch” of her family, Lena cherished her role of doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Lena is survived by her daughters, Wanda (Michael) Glantz and Catherine Burress; grandchildren, William Matthews, Thomas Glantz, and Michele Glantz; great-grandchildren, Jacob Matthews and Jackson Matthews; great-great granddaughter Isabella Matthews; and sisters, Sylvia Kohlbus and Lela Authenritch.
