Larry "Joe" Shipley

Larry "Joe" Shipley, age 70, of Aberdeen, Maryland passed away on March 14, 2023 at his home. Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, he is the son of Harold Shipley of Aberdeen and the late Marie (Davis) Shipley and the husband of the late Jeanne Shipley. Joe was a skilled carpenter and worked in carpentry for over twenty years, and later as a contractor Engineering Technician at ATC, Aberdeen Proving Ground. He was always willing to share his carpentry skills with others and his talents will be missed.
In addition to his father, Larry is survived by his brother, Terry Shipley and his wife, Gale and nephews, Rodney and Michael Shipley.
No flowers please but friends may contribute to a charity of their choice.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
