Kim Elizabeth Barnes, age 69, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late William Dovel and Elizabeth (Severin) Dovel.

Kim was the beloved wife of Walter Leroy Barnes, with whom she shared 49 wonderful years of marriage. She retired in 2018 from Tower Federal Credit Union, where she dedicated 22 years of service as a teller. Kim found joy in life’s simple pleasures, including dining out, spending time in parks walking her dogs, cruising, traveling, and enjoying the open road.

Kim is survived by her loving husband, Walter Barnes.
