Ken "Mike" Hammer

Ken "Mike" Hammer, age 95, of Edgewood, MD passed away on October 17, 2014 at Hart Heritage Estates in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Boswell, PA, he is the son of the late Solomon Robert and Minnie Idella Rhoades Hammer and husband of the late Janet S. Smith Hammer. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country in WWII. He worked at Aberdeen Proving Ground for 35 years as a training specialist and was a member of Lord of Life Lutheran, Mt. Ararat Lodge, Edgewood Lions Club and Tall Cedars #142. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved camping and all outdoor activities.

Mr. Hammer is survived by his daughter, Dianna J. Lemnah and husband, David, of Jacksonville, NC; grandson, David K. Lemnah and wife, Trisha of Denver, CO; and great granddaughters, Reese and Tenley Lemnah.
