Kathryn W. Beardsley

Kathryn W. Beardsley, age 90, of Kingsville, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 3, 2026. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the cherished daughter of the late Jefferson Jerome Walsh, Sr. and Margaret M. (Schalitzky) Walsh and the devoted wife of the late Warren Harmon Beardsley, Sr.

After 25 years of dedicated service, Kathryn retired in 1990 from Becton Dickinson. She embraced life’s simple pleasures and was happiest when camping, crocheting, trying her luck gambling, or enjoying word puzzles. These hobbies reflected her creativity, curiosity, and playful spirit.

In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by her daughter, Marion Beardsley; six sisters; and one brother.

She leaves behind her loving children, Marie (Tom) Ward, Warren Beardsley Jr and William (Debbie) Beardsley, who will forever treasure her love and guidance. She was a proud and devoted Nanny (grandmother) to Shannon (TJ) Sasser, Nick Collins, Karen Beardsley, Stephen Beardsley, Courtney (Clayton) Wood-Thomas, Ben Beardsley, and Rachel Beardsley (Ben Dove), and a joyful great-grandmother to Olivia Lee, Harper Wood-Thomas, Nolan Sasser, and Reed Sasser.
