Kathleen L. Foley

Kathleen L. Foley of Abingdon, MD, passed at Season's Hospice in Franklin Square on May 8, 2016 at the age of 92. She was born in Preston County, WV to the late Clarence Nelson and Nellie Jane (Cline) Knotts and was the wife of 47 years to the late Ellsworth L. "Buzz" Foley. She was a homemaker and a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church in Abingdon. She was a loving grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She was a great cook and looked forward to Sunday dinners with her family. Winters were spent in Florida and she loved playing cards, going to Bingo and working in her flower garden. She would like to thank her special caregivers, Pat Dwyer and Erin Kelly.

Mrs. Foley is survived by her children, Robert M. Riggs and his wife, Emma, Charles A. Foley, Ellery B. Foley and Wesley S. Foley; sister, Mary Bennett; her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
