Obituary

Katherine “Kathie” Bellmyer has been reunited with her parents and her brother in heaven with her passing April 29 at the Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill. She was 75.

Kathie was born February 5, 1951 to Constance Mangano and Lewis Corkran. Growing up in a large, loving Italian family, Kathie is best remembered for her smile, her laughter, her wit and her love.

Along with her parents, Kathie is reunited with her brother Daniel Corkran.

Surviving Kathie is her husband of 41 years H. John “Pops” Bellmyer. They spent many happy years together and with family and friends, traveling and camping.

She also will be lovingly remembered by her son Richard Groh and his wife Jen, stepson Russell Murphy and his wife Lauren, grandchildren Samantha Groh, Joshua Groh , Leah Groh, Sgt. Brodie Murphy USMC, and Willa Murphy and great-grandchildren Wesley Wildberger and Tucker Wildberger, her brother Kenneth and his wife Lynn, and her large, loving Italian family.
