He is also survived by his grandmother Dorothy McNew, who he adored, his aunts Cathy Rockman and husband Neal, Betty Allison and husband John, Mechele Bruneau and husband Greg, cousins Tim Ebey and wife April, Matt Ebey, and Angela James and husband Trevor. He is also survived by many great aunts and uncles.
JR had many friends he was very close to. He was very creative, attentive to the smallest detail, and loved working with his hands. He used his ingenuity and creativity to help those around him that were in need and dedicated himself to what he loved, to which he poured in all of his effort. He loved to play his guitar, especially for the kids on the school bus. He loved to cook for others and enjoyed creating new recipes. He could find something broken and build something new and functional with the parts. His big heart and kindness toward all created a warmth that will be dearly missed.
Missed by many, loved by all who truly knew him.
