Josephine “JoJo” Hostetter, 87, of Fallston, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 20, 2026.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the beloved daughter of the late Mason Ted Dolly and Mary Kathleen (Smith) Dolly. Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Cliff Hostetter, and her and first husband Edward Meads. and her brother, Ronald Dolly.

Josephine was a longtime employee of K-mart at Tollgate, where she proudly served as the store's very first employee. She enjoyed crocheting, working outside gardening and cleaning. She had a special love for her pets, especially her dogs and her African Grey Parrots.

Josephine is survived by her sons, Wayne Meads and wife Dona, and David Meads, Sr. and wife Kathy; grandchildren, Kerry Poist, Kevin Meads and wife Kristy, and David Meads, Jr and wife Kayla.; great-grandchildren, Hayden Poist, Ryleigh Poist, Bella Plumley, and Grady Meads; and her sister, Shirley Openshaw.
