Joseph Woodrow Beckhardt

Joseph Woodrow Beckhardt, age 91, of Joppa, Maryland passed away on March 9, 2023 at his home. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Joseph and Helen Beckhardt and husband of the late Regina (Markiewicz) Beckhardt. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and served our country in the Korean War. He then went on to become a Baltimore City Police Officer.

Joseph is survived by his daughters, Regina M. Myers, Kathleen M. Beckhardt and Mary Ann Siford; and sons, Joseph Beckhardt and Anthony J. Beckhardt.

The family will be hosting a memorial mass on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 10 am at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 8030 Bradshaw Road, Kingsville, Maryland 21087. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Dundalk, Maryland.
