Joseph E. Steedman

JOSEPH E. STEEDMAN, age 82, of Forest Hill, MD, died on December 14, 2006, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Harry and Mary Pierpont Steedman. He retired after 25 years of service for the U.S. government, where he worked as a systems analyst. He was a veteran who served our country in the U.S. Navy. His family said he was an avid golfer who enjoyed sailing and watching sports on television.

Mr. Steedman is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara B. Steedman (nee Brown) of Forest Hill, MD; two sons, Richard Alan Steedman of Frankfort, DE, and David Wayne Steedman of Santa Fe, NM; two daughters, Kathleen S. Bencivenni of Edgewood, MD, and Gail S. Moore of Conowingo, MD; one sister, Ann S. Moody of Houston, TX; and seven grandchildren.
