Johnnie Miller

Johnnie Miller, age 80, of Joppa, MD, passed away on May 11, 2012 at her home. Born in West Jefferson, NC, she was the daughter of the late Wiley Fields and Mary Lyons Craven and wife, for 58 years, of the late Patton Miller. She had worked for 25 years at Alco Standard and was a member of Franklinville Presbyterian Church. She also volunteered at the Maryland Food Bank in Edgewood and loved to read and work in the garden. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and cook and enjoyed spending winters in Florida.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her daughters, Barbara Ann Sheets of North Wilkesboro, NC and Patricia Gail Stangeland of Salisbury, NC; sisters, Mable Bandy of Joppa, MD, Ruby Allen of Laurel Springs, NC and Mary Anders of Joppa, MD; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
