John William Heier, Jr.

JOHN HEIER, 67, of Edgewood, died at Mariner Health of Bel Air on September 29, 2002. Born in Cumberland, he was the son of the late John William, Sr. and Audrey Viola Turner Heier. He worked as a newspaper delivery man for both the News American and the Baltimore Sun.

Mr. Heier is survived by his wife of 43 years, Regina M. Barnheart Heier; five sons, John W. Heier, III of Dundalk, Michael W. Heier of Edgewood, James W. Heier of Essex, Robert W. Heier of Ocean City and Timothy W. Heier of Edgewood; and five grandchildren, Felicia Heier of Edgewood, Brittany Heier of Essex, John Heier, IV of Essex, Robert Heier of Perryville and Michael Heier of Baltimore.

Services were held at the McComas Funeral Home, P.A., Abingdon on Tuesday, October 01, 2002 at 7:30 PM with Rev. Terry B. McIntyre officiating.
