John W. Harkins

JOHN W. HARKINS, age 59, of Fallston, died at St. Joseph Hospital, Towson, Maryland on March 21, 2006. Born in Bel Air, he was the son of the late Aubrey Smithson and Mabel Teresa McCarthey Harkins. He had worked for Green Contracting in White Marsh, Maryland where he was a heavy equipment mechanic. He was a member of the American Legion, Bel Air, Maryland.

Mr. Harkins is survived by a step-daughter, Linda A. Canapp of Fallston, MD; a brother, Russell Harkins of Jarrettsville, MD; and two grandsons, Dylan Tyler Canapp and Steven Wayne Canapp, both of Fallston, MD.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Charles and Buddy Harkins.
