John Donald Vittek, age 90, of Fallston, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, John was the beloved son of the late Joseph Vittek and Marie (Peterka) Vittek. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 48 years, Alma Mary Vittek, and son Samuel Nucci.

John proudly served his country in the United States Army. Following his military service, he dedicated many years of hard work to General Motors, a career in which he took tremendous pride.

John had a passion for dancing, especially ballroom dancing, which brought him great joy throughout his life. He was a proud member of the Elks in Ocean City and greatly enjoyed the atmosphere of Ocean City, especially spending time at the beach. John will be fondly remembered for his storytelling, warm personality, and his remarkable ability to make friends wherever he went — to John, no one was ever a stranger.

He is survived by his daughter, Dina and husband Jerry, grandchildren, Chris Miller, Shawn Miller, Ryan Miller, and Samantha Solari, numerous great grandchildren, brother, James Vittek; his sister, Patsy Placide, and many loving family members and friends.
