On Monday July 31, 2017 John Thomas Canova of Jarrettsville, Maryland passed away. Son of the late Vito Canova and Margaret Walsh Canova. Husband of Noreen Alessi Canova; father of Susan Michelle Slattery; Lisa Ann Fulco and Thomas James Neary. Grandfather of Aaron Slattery; Anthony Fulco; Andrew Fulco; Maya Neary and Megan Neary. He is also survived by a brother Joseph Canova Sr. Visitation will be held Thursday August 3, 2017 from 5-8 PM at the Kurtz Funeral Home, 1114 Baldwin Mill Road Jarrettsville, Maryland 21084. Funeral service will be held Friday August 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM from the funeral home. Interment in Jarrettsville Cemetery, 3737 Federal Hill Road Jarrettsville, Maryland 21084.
