John Dinkle Heatwole, Jr., age 69, of Jarrettsville, Maryland, passed away on September 1, 2024, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the beloved son of John Dinkle Heatwole Sr. and Patsy Jane (Kilburn) Heatwole.
John proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1977 to 1983. His career was dedicated to repairing dialysis and other medical equipment, including his work at Davita Dialysis Company. He also contributed his skills at Delta Utility Services and R.P. Williams Construction Company.
John was a true sports enthusiast, and he had a deep love for baseball. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He loved the beach and looked forward to his cherished family vacations when everyone was together. He was known for his loud deep voice and unique sense of humor. He kept his family laughing with his fashion choices and awkward gifts.
John is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Deborah Heatwole; his son, John (Kelly) Dinkle Heatwole, III; two daughters, Amanda (Charles Jr.) Ingram and Allyson (Ryan) Montalvo; and his treasured grandchildren, Charles Ingram III, Chloe Ingram, Ava Ingram, Maxwell Montalvo, Madeline Montalvo, Olivia Heatwole, Kameryn Reed, and Ryleigh Reed. He also leaves behind his sister, Connie Ohora, and three brothers, Dana Heatwole, Michael Heatwole, and Dale Heatwole.
