John Hall, age 67, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026, in Bel Air, Maryland.
Born in Aberdeen, Maryland, John was the son of the late Charles F. Hall and Rita (Kimble) Hall. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Hall (Culpepper).
John built a long and dedicated career as a mechanic in the heavy equipment industry, where his skill, hard work, and knowledge earned the respect of those who worked alongside him. He retired in 2005.
John had a lifelong passion for automobiles. He enjoyed working on cars, spending time at Cecil County Dragway, attending car shows, and especially looked forward to Ocean City Car Cruises and Carlisle each year. He loved poker nights with his brothers, nephew, and friends. He also cherished the companionship of his beloved dog, Sally, and loved spending time with her.
John is survived by his loving children, Candice Werrell and John Hall, Jr. and his wife, Danielle. He was a devoted Poppop to Brendon, Miranda, Jackson, and Paxton.
He is also survived by his brothers, Mike Hall and his wife, Rose; Dave Hall; Charlie Hall; and Jimmy Hall and his wife, Tina; his sisters, Margaret Atwell and her husband, Roger, Mary Kuykendall and her partner, Rob, and Gigi Mitchell and her husband, Scott; his best friend, Joe Hirsch; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. He was also preceded in death by his sisters-in-law, Lucy Hall and Pam Hall, both of whom held a special place in his heart.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Breath379 this is a local community outreach located in Edgewood, Maryland; John frequented there on Wednesdays to enjoy coffee and good conversation.
John also understood how much Diabetic medication and equipment cost. This organization does not help with research, instead it helps patients directly with the cost of diabetic supplies.
