John Edward Welsh

John Edward Welsh, age 78, of Bel Air, MD passed away on July 4, 2017 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air surrounded by his loving family. Born in Freeland, PA, he was the son of John B. and Rose M. (Yori) Welsh. He was a graduate of King's College and Loyola University's Graduate School. He taught and coached football for 45 years, 38 of which were at John Carroll High School.

Mr. Welsh is survived by his wife, Suzanne Gerberti Welsh; children, Christopher (Suzanne) Welsh, Shea Welsh, Suzie (Pat) Thompson, Matthew (Lara) Welsh, Maureen Reid, Claire Welsh, and Patrick (Allison) Welsh; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Kathryn, Gabrielle, Daniel, Jacob, Shawn, Sam, Ian, Keane, and Eva Sloane.
