John F. Cirillo, Jr.

John F. Cirillo, Jr., age 84, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 27, 2025, in Baltimore. He was born in Wilmington, Delaware, to the late John Francis Cirillo, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth (D’Angelo) Cirillo.

John was the beloved husband of Cora Susan Cirillo, with whom he shared 48 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and family.

He is survived by his loving children, John (Janice) Cirillo III, Jeffrey (Lisa) Cirillo, Christina Oh, and Sandy Cirillo; and his cherished grandchildren, Christopher Oh, Melissa Cirillo, and Jennifer Cirillo. He is also survived by his dear sister, Philomena Meehan, and nephews, Brian Meehan and Daniel Meehan.

John dedicated 44 years of his life to H & S Bakery, located on South Bond Street in Baltimore, where his strong work ethic and warm personality left a lasting impression on coworkers and friends alike.

In his younger years, John was an avid football and baseball player. As time went on, he found joy in golfing, fishing, and testing his luck at the poker table. John had a true love for gambling and was known among family and friends for his “amazing luck” — a trait that always brought smiles and stories to every gathering. At home, he kept his mind sharp with puzzles, Western novels, and his favorite science fiction movies and shows.

John loved spending time with his family and especially treasured family vacations to Ocean City. He also enjoyed one of Maryland’s favorite pastimes — eating and picking crabs — often turning it into a fun family tradition filled with laughter and good memories. He will be remembered as a lighthearted and devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose love and laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life for John will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the tented ballroom at Mountain Branch, located at 1827 Mountain Road, Joppatowne, Maryland.
