John B. Scarlett

John B. Scarlett, 89, of Churchville, MD, passed away on January 17, 2015 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Charlottesville, VA, he was the son of the late John Birks Scarlett Jr. and Elizabeth Stout Scarlett. He served during WWII as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force and taught at Harford Community College where he was a math professor.

Mr. Scarlett is survived by his wife of 57 years, Virginia R. Pacenta Scarlett; sons, John T. Scarlett of Vienna and David M. Scarlett of Aberdeen; daughter, Mary Ann Slack of Ellicott City; brother, Harold Scarlett of Millsboro, DE; and grandchildren, Jeremy, David Jr., Ben, Josh, Dan and Chris.
