Joanne T. Motto, age 73, of Aberdeen, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, in Aberdeen, Maryland. Born in Aberdeen, Maryland, Joanne was the daughter of the late John Andrew Motto and Anneliese Mathilde (Wortmann) Motto. Her brothers the late John M. Motto and the late James C. Motto.

Joanne graduated from Aberdeen High School with the Class of 1971. She was a longtime parishioner and volunteer with the St. Joan of Arc Church. She worked so closing with many families in need through the Good Samaritan Ministry at the church. She played a key role in organizing Ladies lunch groups in the Pastorate of St. Patrick and St. Joan of Arc Church.

She was a generous and caring person who was always willing to help anyone she could. Her kindness, compassion, and giving spirit touched the lives of many, and she will be dearly missed.
