Jessica Lynn Myers, age 42, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
Born in Maryland, Jessica was the beloved daughter of Joy Lynn (McBride) Hamburg and her stepdad Don Hamburg, and James William Myers Jr (father). Jessica was a loving daughter, devoted sister, cherished family member, and loyal friend to many.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, JR Myers and his significant other, Becky; her stepsisters Danielle Hamburg and Natalia Suc; beloved and cherished Aunt Crystal Coleman and Aunt Mary Saffa; nieces and nephews, Marley, Reeves, Hadley , Devin, Sophia and Eli; many beloved other stepsiblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and best friend Angie Thrasher.
Grandmother Betty McBride; proceeded in death by her Grandfather Robert McBride; Grandmother Margaret Myers; and Grandfather James Myers.
Jessica's warmth, strength, and kindness touched all who knew her. She will be remembered as a loving friend and a true social butterfly. She had a gift for making friends everywhere she went. Her joyful spirit, kind heart, and ever-present smile made her a light in the lives of many. Rarely one to complain, she brought positivity and laughter to every room she entered.
She had many passions in life: she loved playing Bingo, cheering on the Ravens, collecting stuffed animals, and chatting with her friends on Facebook. She took pride in her appearance, always keeping her hair done and her nails painted. Jessica had a special love for butterflies, because they symbolized freedom, and now she is free to fly.
Jessica's presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, joy, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who had the pleasure to know her.
