Jesse B. Stacey, Jr., age 73, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away surrounded by his loving family on August 16, 2024, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Jesse Bradford Stacey Sr. and Rosalie Nancy (Columbia) Stacey.
Jesse was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marines and dedicated much of his life to serving his community. He retired in 2001 as a sergeant with the Aberdeen Police Department after 20 years of honorable service. Prior to that, he served with the Cecil County Sheriff's Department from 1971 to 1982. He was also a former member of the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP).
In his leisure time, Jesse found joy in boating and fishing, particularly when accompanied by his beloved grandsons. He was an avid pool player, actively participating in numerous pool leagues, and even traveled to Las Vegas for many tournaments. Jesse was the type of person that if he had two dollars to his name and you needed one, he would give you both in case you needed the other one later.
Jesse is survived by his daughters, Gina (Zeb) Frontera and Giovanna Lea; two grandchildren, Dominic Frontera and Noah Frontera; his sister, Diane (Steve) Cox, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandchild, Seth Mosley, and his brother, Frank Joseph Stacey.
Contributions in Jesse's memory may be made to the Harford County FOP Lodge #31, PO Box 36, Bel Air, MD 21014.
