Jenny Wheat

Jenny Wheat, age 59, of Harford County, Maryland, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025. Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, Virginia was the beloved daughter of the late Virginia Louise (Roberts) Hawks and James Troy Hawks. Virginia was the devoted wife of Joseph Emory Wheat and a loving mother to two daughters, Jennifer Wheat and Crystal Wheat. She was a proud grandmother to Michael, Mark, Destiny, Makayla, Aubree, and Liam, and a cherished great-grandmother to Kensley. She is also survived by her dear sister, Charlotte Spinner. Jenny was beyond loved and is also survived by countless nieces, nephews and cousins, and other relatives and of course all her extra daughters and grand babies as she called them. Virginia dedicated 27 years of her life working in the hospital, ensuring patients were well cared for and nourished. In her later years, she extended that same compassion to the outdoors, lovingly feeding the local wildlife, including raccoons and foxes, near her home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Harford County, an organization close to Virginia’s heart. As Jenny would say PEACE OUT
