Obituary

In Loving Memory of Jennifer

Jennifer’s spirit raced wild and free,

where roaring engines used to be.

With Mustang dreams and burnout smoke,

she found her joy in every stroke.

Though life brought battles, pain, and strain,

she faced them all through sun and rain.

Her strength was quiet, deep, and true,

with love enough to carry through.

She held a heart both kind and wide

for every creature by her side.

Sweet Casey perched with colors bright,

and Bella stayed through every night.

After loss and sorrow came,

she helped the hurting just the same.

With caring words and open hands,

she brought hope across many lands.

She shared in music, sound, and song,

supporting others all along.

Though now her earthly race is done,

her memory still rides on.

And somewhere past the clouds above,

she’s free again in peace and love —

where engines roar and skies stay clear,

while those she loved still hold her near.

Jennifer Lee Kelly, age 45, of Harford County, Maryland, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026.

Jennifer was the beloved daughter of Denise Lee (Cooper) Puckett and Kenneth Lee Puckett, Sr. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, John Edward Kelly.

Jennifer will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Kenneth Puckett, Jr. and her grandmother, Sarah Cooper. She also leaves behind many extended family members and friends whose lives she touched deeply through her kindness, support, and shared passions.

Jennifer had a lifelong love of drag racing and recently developed an interest in motorcycles. She enjoyed working on cars, especially Ford Mustangs. She especially loved the thrill of burnouts and spending time around drag racing, which brought her great happiness. She was also passionate about animals and will be especially missed by her beloved blue and gold macaw, Casey, and her faithful golden retriever, Bella.

Following the passing of her husband, Jennifer became the administrator of the Mid-Atlantic Severe Weather Alert Facebook page and later created the Barometric Pressure Support & Information Facebook page. Through these online communities, she provided support, information, and validation to countless individuals dealing with barometric pressure-related health conditions, building a large and devoted following.
