Jeffrey John Mundth, age 74, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 18, 2026.
Born in Janesville, Wisconsin, Jeffrey was the son of the late Virginia J. (White) Mundth and the late Gerald Eugene Mundth.
Jeffrey was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose life was centered around his faith and his family. He shared a loving marriage with his wife, Anne Marie Mundth, and dedicated his life to providing for and supporting those he loved through his unwavering hard work and commitment.
Jeffrey earned his Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering and Construction Management from the University of Michigan. He went on to become a highly respected business owner, proudly operating JJ Mundth Construction Company. Maintaining the integrity and reputation of his business was deeply important to him, and he took great pride in the work he accomplished throughout his career. His dedication and strong work ethic allowed him to support and care for his family whom he cherished above all else.
Outside of his professional life, Jeffrey found great joy in coaching his children’s soccer and lacrosse teams and being actively involved in their lives. In his younger years, he had a passion for music and especially enjoyed singing and playing guitar alongside his siblings during Mass. He was also a member of the Glee Club. Jeffrey will be remembered for his witty, dry sense of humor, his steadfast faith, and the love and devotion he showed to his family and loved ones every day.
In addition to his parents, Jeffrey was preceded in death by his beloved son, Tommy Mundth.
He is survived by his loving wife, Anne Marie Mundth; his children, Gus Mundth, Kristin Bancroft and her husband Steve, and John Mundth and his wife Lisa; his cherished grandchildren, Steven, Peirce, Coralee, Emma, Tyson, and Teagan; his siblings, Cheryl Kondrat and her husband Richard, Susan Nicolaides, Michael Mundth and his wife Kirsten, and Jonathan Mundth and his wife Ruth; along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss him greatly.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jeffrey’s name to Citizens Care and Rehabilitation 415 S. Market Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078, or to the American Diabetes Association
