Jarrett L. Mattheu, 33, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, in Baltimore, MD. He was born in Baltimore County and raised in Bel Air, MD. Jarrett was a loving son and friend whose radiant smile and warm presence lit up every room he entered. He is survived by his devoted parents, C. Michelle Clark (Darren), and Michael Gerard Mattheu (Joy) his brothers, Michael Krewson (Tracey) and Michael Mattheu (Kayla) and sister Katlyn DeAngelis (Joseph) ; his grandmother, Linda "Mom" Love Clark; his grandfathers, Jim "Pop" Watson, and Gerard "Butch" Mattheu; his aunt, Dana Machnic (Bruce) and his beloved nephews & nieces; Timmy, Ace, Aria, Evan, Tatum & Penelope. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Catherine "Cass" Mattheu, and his grandfather, James "Bob" Clark.

Jarrett's life was filled with deep love, joy, and purpose. He was truly a people person—sweet, caring, funny, loving, nonjudgmental, and a pure soul who was cherished by anyone fortunate enough to know him. He had countless friends and was deeply loved by his family and community.

A man devoted to his faith and to the love of God, Jarrett was an active member of his church's Praise & Worship Band. He was a gifted musician, playing drums and guitar, and held a lifelong passion for music of all kinds—especially bluegrass, a love passed down by his grandfather. He also adored classic cars, enjoyed watching sports, and was a loyal fan of the Baltimore Ravens. To his family, Jarrett was their miracle child. Throughout his lifelong battle with a challenging health condition, he remained strong, fearless, and steadfast, never giving up. His courage and resilience were an inspiration to all who knew him and a source of strength for his family and friends. He will be dearly missed and forever loved.
