Janice E. Bare

JANICE E. BARE, 79, of Abingdon, died at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on May 21, 2003. Born in Marion, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Everette Alexander and Jetty Ruth Bare. She had retired from Aberdeen Proving Ground after 35 years of service where she was a contract specialist. She was a former president of the Edgewood Homemakers and a member of the Historical Society and the Genealogical Society.

Miss Bare is survived by a sister, Brucie J. Cage of Bel Air; a niece Melanie S. Kurian of Bel Air; and two nephews, John E. Cage of Richmond Hills, Georgia and Robert A. Cage of Lorton, Virginia.
