Janice Marie Davis

Janice Marie Davis, age 86, of Forest Hill, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 27, 2025. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the beloved daughter of the late Ray W. Shaffer, Sr. and Emma Marie (Russo) Shaffer.

Janice was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her loving daughter, Denise Marie Gallion and her husband Thomas Gallion; her cherished grandchildren, Trevor Gallion and his wife Gina, Sarah Armour and her husband Brock; and her adored great-grandchildren, Jackson, Elizabeth, Reese, and one more expected in December. Janice is also survived by her dear brother, Ray W. Shaffer, Jr., and his wife Carol.

She was preceded in death by her beloved granddaughter, Amy Gallion.

Janice was a woman of strong spirit, deep faith, and immense love for her family. An avid learner, she found joy in reading spiritual books. A true perfectionist at heart, Janice approached life with thoughtfulness and grace. Her love for her family was unwavering and will forever be remembered by those who knew her.
