On September 8, 2010, unexpectedly James William Shields, Sr of Jarrettsville. Husband of 68 years, toGaye MillerShields, father of Priscilla Waldman, Jenny Barnstein, James William Shields, Jr. Grandfather of Jessica, Leif, Douglas, Amber and Samantha. Great-grandfather of Ella, Abby and Grayson. Brother of Hamilton Shields, Dwight Shields, Eleanor Waggoner, Leota Abdella and Ella Simmonds. Visitation will be Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 3-6 PM at the Kurtz Funeral Home, 1114 Baldwin Mill Road Jarrettsville, Maryland 21084. Service will be Saturday at 5:30 PM from the funeral home. Interment will be in the Mingo Cemetery in West Virginia.
