James Louis Edwards

JAMES LOUIS EDWARDS, age 63, of Havre de Grace, died at Stella Maris Hospice, Timonium, on September 30, 2002. Born in VanBibber, Maryland, he was the son of the late Roy William and Gladys Pearl Gordon Edwards. He was a member of Mountain Christian Church. An avid fisherman, he also enjoyed antique cars.

Mr. Edwards is survived by one son; one daughter; a sister, Evelyn Y. Rose of New Park, Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, R. Merle Edwards; William M. Edwards; and one sister, Joan Simmons.

Services were held in McComas Funeral Home, P.A. in Abingdon on Saturday, October 5, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Herb W. Townsend officiating. Interment was in Mountain Christian Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Roy M. Edwards, Jr., Arnold D. Edwards, Rodney A. Edwards, David M. Rose, Brian K. Rose, and John G. McConnell.
