James Allan Carroll, age 75, of Edgewood, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 5, 2025. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, James was the son of the late James Carroll and the late Doris Lee (Whitlock) Carroll.

James was the devoted husband of his childhood sweetheart, Juanita Mae Carroll, with whom he shared over 56 long, loving years. Together they built a beautiful family founded on unconditional love and unwavering support.

He is survived by his daughters, Sandra (Michael) Loukota and Dessie (Brad) Huston; his cherished grandchildren, Nicolas (Jessica) Mullins, Katie (Isaiah) Lynam, Amanda Mullins, and Rachel Loukota; and one adored great-grandchild, Thomas Mullins

A proud veteran, James lived a life centered on faith, family, and service. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He especially treasured his time with his grandchildren—spoiling them, supporting them, and celebrating every moment he shared with them. His devotion to his family was steadfast and pure.

James had a remarkable gift for kindness. He would do anything for his family, friends, and neighbors—many of whom grew to feel like family. He was always ready to lend a hand, offer support, or share a warm smile. He loved giving gifts at Christmas and cherished spending holidays surrounded by the people he loved.

Strong in his faith, James enjoyed reading the Bible. He also had a deep love of animals, especially his beloved big dog, Bambi. An outdoorsman at heart, James loved hunting, fishing, crabbing, boating, and spending time in the wilderness, particularly with his beloved son-in-law, Michael. His presence, laughter, and unwavering love will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He leaves behind a legacy overflowing with love.
