James A. Cannella

James A. Cannella, age 78, of Joppa, MD, died on August 31, 2009 at his home. Born in Troutdale, VA, he was the son of the late Peter Cannella and Vella Marie Testerman Grubb. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during the Korean War. He retired from Thompson Steel Company after 32 years of service and was a member of Towne Baptist Church in Joppa, MD.

Mr. Cannella is survived by his wife of 53 years, Silvegene Anderson Cannella of Joppa, MD; sons, James Michael Cannella, Jeffrey Mark Cannella, and David Wayne Cannella; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
