Jacqueline Genevieve Edwards, age 86, of Abingdon, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 31, 2026, in Abingdon, Maryland.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Jacqueline was the beloved daughter of the late Frank DeCosmo and the late Genevieve (Shininski) DeCosmo.

Jacqueline was a hardworking and devoted woman who enjoyed a long and fulfilling career. She retired in 2014 after ten years with Under Armour. Prior to that, she worked for more than thirty years as a mold polisher with Carr-Lowrey Glass Company and spent eight years as a line worker with Warner Brothers before the company closed.

Jacqueline enjoyed many activities throughout her life. She loved shopping, playing BINGO, making trips to the casino, and participating in bus trips with her church. She looked forward to vacations in Myrtle Beach and enjoyed spending quiet time reading. Her faith was an important part of her life. She was a former member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church and St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Baltimore and was a current member of Mountain Christian Church.

Jacqueline was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Randolph William Edwards; her daughter, Dawn Edwards; her son, Randolph John Edwards; her grandson, Donnie McGuire; and her parents, Frank DeCosmo and Genevieve (Shininski) DeCosmo.

She is survived by her loving children, Francis (Frank) Edwards and his wife, Kim, Karen Garrett, and Robin Rosenthal; her three grandchildren; her brother, Gerald DeCosmo; three brothers-in-law; one sister-in-law; and many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.
