Jack W. Mothershead

Jack W. Mothershead, age 70, of Frederick, MD, passed away on February 15, 2011 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Richard Hobson and Rose Edwards Mothershead. A resident of Ellicott City for over 30 years, he served his country in the Air National Guard. He worked at Westinghouse, and a later career as an Art Director at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab where he retired after 30 years. He loved sports, especially the Orioles and Ravens, and enjoyed gardening and cooking.

Mr. Mothershead is survived by his wife, Pamela D. Mothershead of Catonsville, MD; sons, Wayne Mothershead and wife, Kimberlea, of Taneytown, MD, Brian Mothershead and wife, Ashley, of Green Castle, PA, and Brandon Mothershead of Catonsville, MD; daughter, Donna Sparks and husband, Ray, of Fawn Grove, PA; brother, Richard Mothershead and wife, Vernie, of Mandeville, LA; sister, Lee Martin of Earleville, MD; and granddaughter, Kaitlyn Sparks of Fawn Grove, PA. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Doris Mules.
