Irene Barrow Mink, age 95, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2025.

Irene was born on December 7, 1929, in Baltimore, MD, to the late Victor and Mary Barrow. She cherished the role of homemaker, dedicating her life to nurturing her family and creating a warm, loving home. Through her culinary talents, she became known for her delicious Sunday dinners, where her family would gather to enjoy her famous roast beef, mashed potatoes, green beans, and freshly baked bread.

A devoted mother, Irene, is survived by her son Ralph Mink Jr. and her four daughters: Victoria Troyer (Jim), Deborah Magness, Barbara Hickman, and Kim Sajjad. She leaves behind the joy of 10 beloved grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, who will forever hold her memory in their hearts. Irene is also survived by her dear sister, Marge Hannahs.

Irene had a profound love for the outdoors, often tending to her garden, where her favorite red geraniums flourished. She found joy in reading Harlequin romances and had a special camaraderie with animals, going so far as to feed the wildlife that frequented her yard.

Irene's passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew her, but her legacy of love, kindness, and devotion will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her loving husband Ralph Mink and sister Bettie Panos.
