Ira L. Kitts

Ira L. Kitts, age 90, of Port Orange, FL passed away on September 12, 2018 at his home. Born in Ceres, VA, he was the son of Ernest and Lola (Tickle) Kitts and husband of the late Ruth Irene Kitts whom he married in 1948. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was the owner and operator of I.L. Kitts Flooring in Churchville for over 30 years. He became a resident of Florida in 2015 and loved water skiing, fishing and going to auctions.

Mr. Kitts is survived by daughters, Belinda Kuszynski and husband, Larry, of Port Orange, FL and Theresa Kitts of Darlington; siblings, Laynes Kitts of Street, Fay Kitts of GA, Wanda Thompson of Pine Bluff, NC and Wayne Vaught of Abingdon; 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
