Howard Clay Salvino

Howard Clay Salvino, age 75, of Joppatowne, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Dorothy Lee (Rodgers) Salvino and Charles Salvino.

Howard is survived by his former wife and friend, Beverly Ann (Lewis) Salvino, his son, Douglas Aron Salvino; his grandchildren, Caitlyn Noelle Salvino, Ava Grace Salvino, Logan Alexander Gobrecht, and Hunter Allen Gobrecht, and his brothers, Thomas Salvino and Charles Salvino.

Howard was a proud veteran and a dedicated member of the United Steelworkers of America Local 2609 Union. He had a deep love for vegetable gardening and was especially fond of his dogs, Bear, Shadow, and Cookie who were constant companions throughout his life. His appreciation for music spanned a wide range of genres, reflecting his open-hearted and vibrant spirit.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved children, Michael Christopher Salvino and Holly Anne Salvino, and his brother, Theodore.

Howard will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for his loyalty, humor, and love for family, nature, animals, and music.
