Holly G. Greene

Holly G. Greene, age 78, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on March 12, 2014 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Irving Caywood Hanners and Virginia Seeger Prescott and wife of the late Hubert Greene. A long time resident of New York City, she moved to Bel Air in 1996 to co-found Tidewater Promotions, a family promotional products business. She was a former food editor of Parents and Home magazines, and the author of several cookbooks, including the Thanksgiving Cookbook, and her personal favorite, the Periyali Cookbook.

Mrs. Greene is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Caywood Roberts of Darlington; son-in-law Ed Roberts; brother, Jonathan Hanners of Richmond, VA; sisters, Ruth Howard of Portland, OR and Suzanne Hanners of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren, Michael and Caleb Frick and Jillian and Hollin Roberts; and great-grandchildren, Bill, Remy, Tobin and Mathys Frick; step-son Gary Repp; daughter-in-law Marissa Repp and step-grandchildren Alex, Arielle and Eric Repp. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, Timothy David Garrison and brother, Christopher Hanners.
