Herman Justo Castillo Jr.

Herman Justo Castillo Jr, age 73, of Abingdon, Maryland passed away on August 18, 2023 while on vacation. Born in Baltimore City, Maryland, he was the son of Justo and Virginia (Toro) Castillo. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He received his Bachelor's degree from Towson State and Master's degree from the University of Delaware and was employed in banking management. Herman had a passion for baseball and softball and coached both baseball and softball for over 20 years. He enjoyed watching professional wrestling, playing golf, loved his dogs and enjoyed cooking.
      
Herman is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kimberly Castillo; daughter, Carly V. Castillo; sons, Joseph H. Castillo and Christopher W. Castillo; grandson, Nathan M. Crue; and sister, Maggie Castillo-Stimson and her husband, Ransey.
 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William E Castillo.
