Helen T. Fitta

Helen Teresa Fitta, age 88, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on June 10, 2021 at her home. Born in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of the late Anna and Paul Obrycki and loving, dedicated and supportive wife of 63 years to the late Eugene R. Fitta, Jr. Helen's career included working many years as a medical secretary. She was a member St. Margaret Catholic Church. Helen was a charitable woman who felt good about donating to many charities, including many Christian charities. She enjoyed square dancing, knitting, needle point, crocheting, sewing, ceramics, painting, and puzzles.

Helen always was and will be remembered as a loving, caring, nurturing homemaker as well as a wonderful cook. Helen truly enjoyed celebrating all holidays welcoming every family member especially at Christmas time. She is survived by her two sons, Ronald Lee Fitta and Kevin D. Fitta and former wife Patricia; daughter, Diane M. Muhler and husband Paul; grandchildren, Nicole McKew, Eric Muhler, Brian Fitta, Michael Fitta and Sarah Hemstetter; great-grandchildren, Madison McKew, Gavin McKew and Sadie Fitta; sister, Josephine Maher; and special farewell friend Karen Schubert.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Ted Obrycki and sisters, Jen Wegrzyn, Agnes Castelli and Lottie Kehoe.
