Helen Pauline Maloyed

Helen Pauline Maloyed, age 80, of Bastian, Virginia passed away on January 13, 2025 at her daughter’s home after a long illness. Born in Havre de Grace, MD, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Sargable) Kral and wife of the late David E. Maloyed; whom she was married to for 60 years. She was a dedicated wife and mother who loved sewing, crocheting, canning and baking.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Tina Pollitt and her husband, Jack Jr of Bastian, VA; sons, Donald Maloyed and his wife, Michele of Aberdeen, Ronnie Maloyed of Aberdeen, and Randy Maloyed, Sr., of Parkville; granddaughters, Kristina Maloyed, and Amanda Kraft; grandsons, Tyler Maloyed, Randy Maloyed, Jr., Bryan Maloyed, and Matthew Kraft; and five great grandchildren: Kaylin Mae, Viktor David, Abigail Rey, Kolson Lake and Drusilla Storie Faye; along with 8 step-grandchildren and 17 step-great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughters-in-law Tina Maloyed and Kim Maloyed.
